Introduction
In this period students will be given a dictation. Then they shall go on to discover useful words and expressions and to learn about word formation. After that they may be helped to discover and use useful structures: the future passive voice.

1. Warming up by having a dictation
There are several important sentences in this unit. Let’s have dictation of them. Try to learn them by heart after class.
﹡When and where will the next Olympic Games be held?
﹡I live in what you call “Ancient Greece” and / used to write about the Olympic Games more than 2000 years ago.
﹡All countries can take part if they reach the standard to be admitted to the games.
﹡The next Olympic Games will be held in my hometown.
﹡It is just as much a competition among countries to host the Olympics as to win an Olympic medal.
