There are diverse minorities in Yunnan. Their customs are varied. Some wear brightcolored costumes with belts, while others wear necklaces and other jewellery. For example, the Jinuo ethnic group has a population of about 20,000. Their native region is in the Jinghong area of Yunnan. They have an agricultural economy involving farming and fishing, their main crops being rice, maize and beans. Once on a journey, I saw a soul in the distance.
